OCEAN COTTAGE, FERRING
3 bed cottage - sleeps 6

The Location
Ferring is a picturesque, flat, friendly seaside village with an organic butcher, a delicatessen, several cafe / bars, a renowned tapas restaurant with cocktail bar, an Indian restaurant, convenience stores, post office, hairdresser and beauty salons.
South Ferring consists of private roads with no streetlights and no pavements - roads are quiet and cars are used to pedestrians walking in the road. Do bring a torch if you plan to walk around at night though !
It's safe village with a real sense of community and fantastic night skies.
For walkers, there are flat walks along the beach, up the river Rife, across the river and fields into Kingston Gorse and for more of a hike, head up to Highdown Hill and onto the South Downs National Park.
You could while away a week or even a month without needing to leave Ferring – in fact, that would be “get away from it all bliss”! However, if you do want to explore, Worthing, Brighton, Chichester, Arundel, Goodwood, Steyning and Littlehampton are all close by.
Worthing has an exciting gastro scene which foodies will enjoy, including Tern, a Michelin guide restaurant and Crabshack which serves up fresh seafood and was named one of the top 25 places in the world to watch the sunset - presumably with a glass of something in hand!
Ferring is a hidden gem that sits on a beautiful stretch of the South Coast between Worthing and Littlehampton with Brighton, Chichester, Arundel and Goodwood all within easy reach by car.
The local beaches are popular with dog walkers, windsurfers and kite surfers as well as families and are always far less busy than the better known towns - but sshh...dont tell everyone !!
